Banana Puree

Bananas are a globally popular crop, following only wheat, rice, and corn in production. Originating in Southeast Asia thousands of years ago, bananas made their way to the Americas in the early 1500s, where African farmers cultivated them alongside sugar plantations. Arab traders later introduced the fruit to the Middle East and East Coast of Africa. Today, bananas are produced year-round and are primarily grown in Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Karnataka in India.
